Do you try to keep all your flextime hours in your head or do you jot them down on post-it notes and keep them on your desk? With PM-Flex those days are over. All your hours, including flextime and overtime, are registered in ProjectManager.
The administrator first needs to define a number of time codes. This is done so that all your registered hours can be divided into suitable groups, and so you can see how many hours have been registered on the different ones. There are two predefined time codes, flextime and overtime.
Administrators and project managers can easily check whether all users really register time every day, and how the working hours are distributed over several days or weeks. The program has been created in such a way that it is not possible to register time on the current date until registrations for previous days correspond with the set normal working hours. It is also possible to limit the number of hours that a user can register on a time code.
Registering Flextime
If you register nine hours on a day when the normal working hours is set to eight hours, eight hours will be registered on the normal working hours time code whereas the last hour needs to be registered somewhere else. The tool will then suggest that you register that hour as overtime. Then, if you only work seven hours one day, you are one hour short which will then need to be taken out of somewhere. You can then ”use” the hour from the previous time by registering it on the flextime code.
Verification and Reports
The administrator determines the settings for verifications of registrations. This includes how the verification is to be done, which users are authorized to verify registrations and whose registrations they are authorized to verify. The plug-in also lets you create various types of reports on flextime registrations as well as generate salary details with information on registered flextime.
