System Requirements

 

All of the Artologik programs are developed for Windows, but can be adjusted to other operative systems.

 

Web Server:

The programs are to be installed on a web server which must meet the following requirements: 

• Windows 2000/Windows 2003/Windows 2008
• A web server program: IIS 5 (or later version), contact us for
  information if you want to use another program.
• Disc space 100 Mb

Database:

The choice of the database will depend on which licence you need.

The programs can be connected to one of the following databases:

• MS Access/MS SQL
• Oracle: some of our programs work now with Oracle, the others can be adjusted on demand - please contact us for more information!

Browsers:

The final user just needs a web browser to use Artologik software. We support the following browsers.

• Windows: Internet Explorer version 6.0 or later, Firefox version 3.0 or later
• Mac: Firefox version 3.0 or later

Rental:

You can also rent the software on our web hotel. We take care of the maintenance and you just have to focus on your work.

 

Testing the Artologik Programs:

You can test the programs through three different means:

• Test Online (on our website)
• Get your own free evaluation site
• Download a demo and install it yourself on your own web server

Is Artologik Available for Me If I Use Linux or Macintosh?

The programs must be installed on a Windows web server (see System Requirements above).

 

But, the users of the Artologik programs can work with the applications through their Macintosh or Linux computers.

The web server must meet the following requirements: - Windows NT 4/Windows 2000/Windows 2003 - A web server program: IIS 4 (or later version), contact us for information if you want to use another program. - Disc space 100 Mb The programs can be connected to one of the following databases: - MS Access/MS SQL/Oracle/Postgre SQL (HelpDesk does not support Oracle/Postgre SQL) The choice of database is dependent on which size of program version you need. The user only needs a browser. Recommended browsers: Windows: IE, NS, Firefox Mac: Firefox Use one of the later versions of the respective browser. RentalYou can also rent a space for the programs at our web hotel. We take care of all the maintenance and you can work directly on the web. TestYou can test the programs in several ways, directly online, at one of our test sites or by making an installation of your own. If you do not already have a web server installed, we recommend that you order a test site.
Is Artologik available for me if I use Linux or Macintosh?The program has to be installed on a computer with Windows (see System Requirements above), but for the clients there are no requirements for the installed platform.
