The data is imported automatically from your directory to Query&Report. This eliminates the need for double administration and you can create a “single-sign-on” user environment.
Configuration is carried out via an interface to which only one user of the system has access. You put the URL and logging-in details for the data source into the interface and then define the import directories, i.e. the place from which the users are imported. It is possible to define several catalogues. You can decide that passwords must be synchronized for the import or that only “single-sign-on” will apply, or provide the option to log into Query&Report even if user verification in the data source is not accessible.
When importing, you can allow the software to use standard settings and only import users straight off. You can also create various import rules. For example, the rules can be used to allocate categories to the respondents while they are being imported or to allocate language codes to them. An import rule could be: All persons that have Sweden as their country in their address will receive the language code Swedish. These rules can of course be varied and refined. When all settings are finalized, you only need to log into the application as usual and import.
