Images and documents play an important part on a modern website. Artologik WebPublish has built-in image and document archives that make it easy for you to upload all the files that you need.

Image archive

The upload process is simple and easy and the images can be saved in several different sizes. It is also possible to do some simple image editing, like cropping, rotating, and flipping, during the upload process in the tool. The images can then be tagged, which allocates keywords to the files, for easy reference and connection to a news item page or event page containing the same keywords.

Taking images from the Image archive and using them on the website is simple. The archive is structured with multiple folder levels so to maintain order among the files. For every image in the archive, there is a list of there that image has been used on the website. This is extremely useful when an image is to be removed from the site as it shows where broken links have or will occur as a result.

Document Archive

The document archive uses folders and subfolders to maintain an organized structure and to facilitate searching for specific files.

To link a document from a page on the website, it is as simple as entering the document archive and selecting the appropriate document. Attached to each document is a list of where that document has been linked to within the site. Additionally, as the whole tool is web-based, it is possible to access the files from any computer with an Internet connection.
