11 ways to Restrict Bookings

Define Access levels
With Access Levels, you can make objects unbookable by users whose level is not at least equal to that of the object they wish to book.

Limit bookings to connected users and/or organisations
You can connect objects with organisations or users, so that only those connected to the object can book it.

Opening hours and Calendar exceptions
Opening Hours allow you to restrict bookings to specific times of the day. By combining them with Calendar Exceptions, you can block bookings for holidays, maintenance or any other planned event.

"Non-bookable time" setting
Enable the "Non-bookable time" setting on objects. For example, decide that no bookings can be made during lunch time. Incompatible with Schedules.

Set Schedules
You can set Schedules, enabling you to create specific booking slots. Users cannot book more or less time than the specified slots.

Automatic maintenance time
If your objects require maintenance after each booking, e.g. a cleaning time, you can set it directly in the object settings, resulting in it being added automatically to bookings.

Approval of bookings
Bookings for an object can be subject to approval from the person responsible for said object. You can also decide which organisations or users should not be affected by this rule.

No simultaneous bookings
There is a setting enabling you to limit users from making multiple bookings at a time. Perfect for lightening the load on your resources.

Remaining days to booking
When an object requires a setup time before a booking, you can set the required number of days for setup. Users must book at least this number of days in advance.

Restrict number of bookings
Restrict the number of times a user can book objects from a particular category.

Set maximum bookable hours
You can limit the number of hours users or organisations can book a specific object. If you want them to be only able to book it for a maximum of 10 hours spread through several bookings, you can.
